How House of Being OÜ handles personal data in connection with this website.

What this site does not do

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics or tracking of any kind, and takes no payments. There are no user accounts. The only place this site asks you for personal data is the contact form.

Who we are

House of Being OÜ, incorporated in Estonia, is the data controller for personal data submitted through this website. Registration number: (To be added once assigned by the Estonian Business Register.). Registered address: (To be added once a registered address is confirmed.). Contact: (To be added once the company's email address is established.).

What the contact form collects, and why

When you submit the contact form, we collect the name, email address, a chosen topic and the message you type. A hidden field on the same form (never shown to a real visitor) exists only to catch automated spam submissions; it does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone. We use what you submit only to read, understand and reply to your enquiry.

Lawful basis

We process this data on the basis of your consent in submitting the form, and to take steps you have requested prior to a possible working arrangement (GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and (b)). You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us; this does not affect the lawfulness of anything already done.

Processors

This site is hosted on Vercel. Submitted enquiries are stored in a database operated by Supabase. A notification of a new enquiry is sent by email through Resend. Each of these providers processes data on our behalf as a processor, under its own data processing terms, and none of them may use your data for their own purposes.

Retention

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain a reasonable record of the conversation, and delete them when they are no longer needed for that purpose or on request.

International transfers

Where a hosting, storage or email provider we use processes data outside the European Economic Area — including in the United States — we rely on an appropriate safeguard recognised under GDPR, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, as set out in that provider’s own data processing terms.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access your personal data, request correction or erasure, restrict or object to its processing, and receive a portable copy of it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at (To be added once the company's email address is established.). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Estonian data protection authority, Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, or with the supervisory authority in your own EU member state.
